Disaster - MS - April 13-14, 2019

This past Saturday, tornadoes and flash flooding hit a number of communities in our state.  The Mississippi REALTORS® Disaster Relief Fund is a charitable organization which was established in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina to assist with recovery from disaster from Tupelo to Louisville, Hattiesburg, Woodville and the Mississippi Coast. We have also had the privilege of assisting disaster victims in other states, giving back to others who generously poured money into Mississippi after Katrina.

The other night I was driving down a main thoroughfare near where I live, and the traffic was heavy. This street is less than 500 yards from our home. And while we’re not adjacent to it, when we bought our house over 20 years ago, we were concerned about traffic noise.
